You'll Need:

3 cups of frozen chopped Spinach

1/2 medium Onion

Salt to Taste (and/or seasoning of your choice)

2-3 Tbsp of Oil

4-5 Frozen dough disc for Pastry

3-4 Tbsp All Purpose Flour

Stainless Steel Fork



Assemble:

  1. Follow directions on packaging and defrost the individually wrapped Discs.

  2. Saute onions and spinach in oil.

  3. Salt to taste and/or season to liking.

  4. Let Spinach filling cool for 10 minutes.

  5. Using a clean surface sprinkle flour.

  6. Place disc on floured surface.

  7. Fill disc liberally with 1-2 spoon fulls of spinach.

  8. Fold over and seal using fork to press edges closed.

Spinach is a great source of not only Iron, Potassium and Magnesium but other properties such as Zinc and Calcium that prove to lower blood pressure, improve blood vessel health, maintain eye health and aid in building strong bones. Just to name a few.
